Dayang Rosnani just joined Ministry of Health in April 2016 as the Director of Administration and Finance and was appointed as Head of Administration with portfolios such as the general administration, management and development of human resources and estate management. Prior to that, she was the Acting Director of Research and Planning at Public Service Department – Research and Planning Section (2014 – April 2016) in which she was involved in reviewing the government policies, the scheme of services and looking at the individual department’s organizational structure.
She has a Degree of Bachelor of Science in Medical Science from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, United Kingdom (1998). She first joined the public service as Chief Narcotics Officer at Narcotics Control Bureau in 2002. She then had her Master in Public Administration (MPA) in 2009 from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. From that, she then joined the Brunei Administrative Services’ Scheme and transferred to Public Service Department in 2011 as an Administrative Officer (Special Grade).
During her years in Public Service Department, she has undergone her Executive Development Program for Middle Management Officer (EDPMMO) from ILIA, Universiti Brunei Darussalam in 2012 and Executive Development Program for Senior Government Officers (EDPSGO) also from ILIA, Universiti Brunei Darussalam in 2014.
Her interests include Policy Making, Strategic Planning, Scenario Planning, Succession Planning, HR Auditing and Performance Management.
