Pg Anuar was appointed as
Head of Corporate Communication in 2016 and is a member of the Innovation and Delivery Academy (IDeA) for
Ministry of Health. Pg Anuar graduated in
2005 with a Bac. of Biomedical Science in University of Queensland Australia.
Before his current appointment, he served as a Health Education Officer in the
Health Promotion Centre since April 2006 and has held several positions such as
Head of the Health Galleria Unit, Head of Resource & Social Marketing
Division, and Head of Management, Strategic Planning & Partnership
Division. During his time in the Health Promotion Centre, he was involved in
many health promotion and education activities as well as health projects at
the ministerial and national level which includes, among others, the
coordination of the opening of the Health Promotion Centre in 2008, National
Civil Servant Day 2011 (exhibition), Knowledge Convention 2012 (exhibition),
National Campaign against Noncommunicable Diseases in 2014-2015, and was particularly
instrumental in the setup of the Quitline in 2014. Pg Anuar was chosen as one
of the Brunei Top 100 Leaders Program, Prime Minister’s Office in 2015 and from
there on, he was given the role as the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) Penggerak or
Deliverologist in ensuring the Health
System and Infrastructure Masterplan for Ministry of Health particularly in 3
areas i.e. Health Promotion, Noncommunicable Diseases and Infrastructure are
monitored and implemented. In his capacity as one of the IDeA members, he
worked as a mediator to facilitate lean projects under the Ministry of Health,
and one project of note is the establishment
of MOH Talian Darussalam 123, a one stop call centre for MOH’s complaint
management in April 2016. Pg Anuar has interest in communication,
innovation, social marketing, counseling and graphic design.
