Borhan Haji Hamdan is currently holding the post of Head of Health Regulations since his appointment in 2016. He is a trained physiotherapist and headed both Physiotherapy Department in RIPAS Hospital and Suri Seri Begawan Hosppital (1996-2002).
Borhan also has extensive experiences in planning and administration. Previously he held the position Acting Chief Executive Officer Gd 1, Department of Health Services (2010-2016) and was the Head of Quality Assurance Unit, then Head of Financial Support Services, then Head of Clinical Support Services, RIPAS Hospital (2002-2010).
He has a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy, The Queen’s College, Glasgow (1990) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Manipulative Therapy, Curtin University of Technology, Perth WA (1993). He then completed his Master of Health Policy and Management, Universiti Brunei Darussalam in 2013 and in the same year attended the Executive Development Program for Middle Managers.
