Dr Hajah Siti Fatimah binti Haji Mohammad Jaafar

Head of Human Resource (Service Delivery)

Dr Hajah Siti Fatimah was appointed as Head of Human Resource (Service Delivery) in 2016 and is a member of the Innovation and Delivery Academy (IDeA) for Ministry of Health. She was also involved in developing the ministry's strategies as her previous work posting was Head of Health System and Infrastructure Strategy Management Unit for Ministry of Health (2015) and as the Acting Assistant Director of Research and Development – Research and Development Division (2013-2015).

​Dr Fatimah is a Qualified Cytotechnologist Membership Certificate CT (IAC) Examination from the International Academy of Cytology, CT Registry and Certification Committee, Chicago, Illinois, USA (1996). She has also undergone her Executive Development Program for Senior Government Officers (EDPSGO) from ILIA, Universiti Brunei Darussalam in 2014 and is a member of the Brunei Top 100 Leaders Program by the Prime Minister's Offrice.

She has a Degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology from the University College London, London, United Kingdom (1992). She later on continued to obtain a Degree of Master of Science In Clinical Cytotechnology (1997) and then a Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) In Clinical Cell Pathology, Immunology And Oncology (2009) both from the Imperial College of Science,Technology & Medicine, London, United Kingdom. Dr Fatimah is an active contributor in the organisation of many important events hosted by Ministry of Health alone or with other Ministry at National / International / Regional level held in Brunei Darussalam and has contributed a publication, Correlation of CXCL12 Expression and FoxP3+ Cell Infiltration with Human Papillomavirus Infection and Clinicopathological Progression of Cervical Cancer.
