• Proof of offer of clinical employment as a dentist in Brunei Darussalam
• Certified copy of basic Dental professional qualification certificate
• Certified copy of any clinical postgraduate Dental professional qualification certificate (if applicable)
• Proof of Verification document of basic Dental professional qualification certificate to be sent directly to Brunei Medical Board
• Certified copy of Certificate of registration with current Dental Regulatory Authority and/or practising certificate as a dentist in current country of practice
• Valid Certificate/Letter of Good Standing from Dental Regulatory Authority of current country of practice issued not more than six months from date of application
• Curriculum Vitae including proof of clinical dental experience after obtaining primary dental professional qualification
• Proof of identity (Passport or if available Brunei Darussalam Identification card)
• Medical Fitness Certificate issued or endorsed by a Brunei Darussalam Ministry of Health approved Occupational Health Practitioner
• One recent colour passport photograph (with name written at the back)

 Note:

For first-time registration with the Brunei Medical Board (BMB), original documents must be presented to BMB for verification

If working in private practice:

• Proof of minimum six years post primary dental professional qualification clinical experience, three years of which was in clinical service as a dentist with Department of Dental Services, Ministry of Health, Brunei Darussalam
• Documents/certificates related to services provided/procedures conducted
• Cash registration fee of B$50 refundable upon unsuccessful application

It is the responsibility of the employer to apply on behalf of the applicant.

Requirements for renewal of Annual Practicing Certificate

• Proof of clinical dental practice in Brunei Darussalam cumulative over a period of nine months in the preceding 12 month period
• Proof of at least 30 Dental Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points accumulated over preceding 12 month period (or equivalence)
• Proof of valid medical fitness from the Occupational Health Department, Ministry of Health, Brunei Darussalam, where applicable
• One recent colour passport photograph (with name written at the back)
• Copy of Certificate of any recent postgraduate qualifications or training (if applicable)
