The Laboratory Service has commence its official operation from 1950s , it then grew to what it is today; robust and ready to serve the people of Brunei Darussalam.

Blood Tests
Includes complete blood count (CBC), blood chemistry panels, blood typing, and various tests to assess overall health and specific conditions.
Microbiology Testing
Covers the identification of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites through cultures, sensitivity testing, and molecular diagnostics.
Immunology Testing
Focuses on the evaluation of the immune system, including tests for antibodies, autoimmune disorders, allergy testing, and assessments of immune system function.
Urinalysis
Examines urine composition, including tests for pH levels, presence of proteins, glucose, blood, and other substances, aiding in the diagnosis of urinary tract infections, kidney diseases, and other conditions.
Histopathology Services
Focuses on the examination of tissues and cells under a microscope to diagnose diseases, such as cancer, through biopsies or surgical specimens.
Genetic Testing
Involves the analysis of DNA, chromosomes, or proteins to detect genetic disorders, assess risks for certain diseases, and determine personalized treatment plans.
Imaging Services

Hematology Services
Concentrates on the study of blood-related disorders, including coagulation studies, blood cell morphology, and other tests to diagnose conditions like anemia, leukemia, and clotting disorders.
Toxicology Testing
