This Act also establishes the Medical Board which consists of the Director-General of Medical Services as chairman and other members being duly qualified medical practitioners and dentists as His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam may appoint from time to time.

7Pharmacists Registration

1 July 2001This Order provides for the registration of pharmacists in Brunei Darussalam and the establishment of a Pharmacy Board with the Director of Pharmacy Services as chairman.

1 June 2008Aside from government premises, hospitals, medical clinics, nursing homes, shopping complexes, eating places, restaurants, hotel lobbies, educational institutions smoking is also prohibited in recreational parks, markets, tamus, public staircases, lifts, toilets and airports.
