Hjh Naedawati Hj Morsidi was given the responsibility to head International Affairs in 2016. Before this appointment she was in the Research and Development Division (1999-2015) and managed many projects for the ministry. Her passion for research stems from her academic background. She obtained her BSc (HON) Health Administration and Health Promotion in 1999 and has a MSc Public Health and Health Services Research in Health Economics in 2006.
​During her time, she was the secretariat for many big projects which include being the secretariat for the Establishment of Brunei Cancer Registry, secretariat for MOH Health System and Infrastructure Master Plan and secretariat for the Review of MOH scheme of charges. Her contributions in research such as studies on decentralization of ambulance services and the review on the maternity leave regulation also supported many advancements in clinical areas. She also led several catchment studies for various health centres and surveys for the ministry such as patient attendance survey and high risk allowance survey which provided data that enabled decisions many health policies.
