MISSION

The promotion and maintenance of the highest degree of physical, mental and social well-being of workers in all occupations, by:

1. preventing departures from health caused by the work environment
2. protecting the workers in their employment from risk factors adverse to health; and
3. adaptation of work to the workers and workers to their jobs

OBJECTIVES:

1. Maintenance and promotion of workers' health and working capacity.
2. Improvement of working environment and work to become conducive to safety and health 
3. Development of work organisations and working cultures in a direction, which supports health and safety at work.
