Introduction

Nurses Registration Act 1961 (Revised Edition 1984) Cap 140 is an Act to provide for the registration of nurses. Establishment and constitution of Nursing Board for Brunei is empowered by the Act. The Board shall be constituted in accordance with the provisions contained in regulations made under this Act.

‘The Nurses Registration Act (1984 Ed.) is amended by the Nurses Registration Act (Amendment) Order, 2014. The subsidiary legislations are the Nurses Registration (Nursing Board for Brunei) Regulations, 2002 which is amended by the Nurses Registration (Nursing Board for Brunei) (Amendment) Regulations, 2006. The regulations under the Nurses Registration Regulations, 2014 and Nurses Registration (Committees) Regulations, 2014 commenced on 1st March 2014’
